Ninja Crew is a community site about intelligent music. The main source of our music are the Ninja Tune artists and their partners. This website is a way of organizing, sharing and tracking the dynamic stream of our favorite music.

Ninja Tune is a London-based independent record label started in 1990 by DJs Matt Black and Jonathan More, better known as Coldcut, with a strong leaning towards electronic, abstract hip hop, instrumental hip hop, nu jazz, drum and bass, and chillout music.

The Solid Steel radio show started in 1988 on London's pirate KISS FM radio station. Matt Black and Jonathan More, having started with separate shows, joined forces to present Solid Steel a few years before the station finally went legal.
